"These people don't have any other recourse," Association President Rodney Gadson said. "After that, some of them don't have the stimulus checks. Some don't have the money, some waiting on unemployment. So, this is a brewing disaster for homelessness." 

"What's important to us is just trying to say, 'hey we can put some food on your plate' and we just want to let you know that if you've got any concerns, we're here for you," SBTA President Rodney Gadson said.”

“'Why don't you come down here to South Bend, Indiana and walk a milk in people's shoes?' Gadson said” 

“We understand that landlords have bills to pay as well, but we hope landlords and government officials will offer flexibility and understanding,” Gadson said. “Renters are hurting.” 

"If you are struggling to put food on the table or pay bills, there is help."

"Gadson says there are dozens of other apartment properties around the area with similar problems, where seniors or people with low income feel like they can’t get help. “Why are you just helping one?” said Gadson. “Let’s help them all.”"
